SUMMARY:Service Project: Make Thanksgiving cards in other languages for Greencastle residents
DESCRIPTION:🦃 This Thanksgiving\, BCIC is seeking students and families to help make handmade Thanksgiving cards for residents of Greencastle of Barrington. The cards will be attached to the residents’ Thanksgiving dinner packages donated by other organizations. \nPlease make cards on thicker paper or cardstock with original artwork and a message such as \nHappy Thanksgiving! We wish you happiness and good health. \n感恩节快乐！祝您幸福、身体健康。 \nCards may be signed with students’ first name or family name. Envelopes are not needed. \n🌍 Greencastle is a very diverse community. We are requesting cards written in Mandarin\, Russian\, Hindu\, Korean\, and more. We would like to provide cards for residents in as many languages as possible. \nCARDS MUST ARRIVE AT GREENCASTLE BY FRIDAY\, NOVEMBER 21. \nYou can mail or drop off the cards at: \nGreencastle of Barrington\nAttention: Qi Teng\n445 E. Main Street\nBarrington\, IL 60010 \nIf dropping off in person\, please coordinate with Social Services Coordinator\, Qi Teng\, qteng@embraceliving.org \n✏️ Please register and indicate how many cards your family would like to make in each language. \nStudents in 7th grade and up are welcome to join us at Station Middle School on Friday\, November 14 at 4pm. Service credit is available for NJHS and BHS students: Make Thanksgiving Cards for Greencastle at Station Middle School!
