Weiqi (Go Game)
We have finished the Weiqi/Go game teaching at North Barrington Elementary in 2023-2024 school year. Go game is originated from China, but it is also a manipulative to help kids to learn Math. Master Guo’s research shows that 60% math content in K-3 can be covered with Go game. That’s why our CI teacher also invited non-CI teachers and students (total about 6-7 classes in total) to learn Go game too.
