On Sunday, April 21, BCIC commemorated the remarkable journey and accomplishments of the class of 2024 CI students. This cohort holds a special place as the first to embark on the CI curriculum from kindergarten through graduation.
Amidst an ambiance of camaraderie and nostalgia, graduates, alongside their families, and esteemed D220 administrators & teachers—both past and present—gathered at Barrington’s Campus Life Center. Against a backdrop of laughter and reminiscence, they indulged in delectable Chinese cuisine, sharing anecdotes of days gone by, and raising their voices in joyful harmony to the tune of "Friends".
Congratulations resound to the CI Class of 2024! A heartfelt appreciation extends to this pioneering group—both students and parents—who have blazed a trail for future generations of CI and BCIC. Your unwavering vision, commitment, and perseverance have laid the foundation for an extraordinary educational opportunity.
Thank you for your invaluable contributions to the legacy of CI and BCIC.

BCIC looks forward to participating at the Countryside Art Fair every spring. BCIC volunteers (Countryside Alums) taught elementary students a little Chinese calligraphy and how to write the word "Spring" in Chinese. Thanks to all the students and families that stopped by our booth!
